Saasha Monique’s style is born of the idea that beauty should be fun, progressive and gutsy. Saasha revels in styling that’s cutting edge but still exudes romance and femininity. Saasha’s love for natural hair started when she cut her hair off. After being obsessed with hair for over fourteen years, she turned that obsession ten years ago into her profession! She specializes in silk presses, color, cuts, bobs and short styles. Saasha has styled on photo and video shoots, her work has graced the pages of Hype Hair and 360 magazines. Working on everything from editorial spreads, weddings, to television. Saasha has excitedly worked with young and upcoming creatives to season artists, represented brands such as Organic Root Stimulator, Nairobi, Pantene and has sent models down the runway for Harper’s Bazaar. Saasha Monique looks forward to one day working on a big beauty campaign!

Krystal

MASTER DESIGNER

Krystal has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry most of her life. She has been interested in hair since the age of 9 and has always promoted natural hair. She believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field with her knowledge of new products and services available in order to provide excellent service to her clientele. She specializes in box braids, invisible braids, twists, coloring, updos, twist outs, kinky twists, crochet weaves, loc extensions and custom wigs, but absolutely loves loc and loc styling. She stays updated on all the latest trends so that she can give you the look you want. Krystal places high value on listening to her clients, understanding their needs and respecting their hair…. and she strives for unlimited creativity!

Trisha

SENIOR DESIGNER

Trisha graduated from Aveda, School of Beauty and Hairstyling. After starting a community college, she then discovered that hair was her true passion. She loves to interact with people and always loved the beauty industry, creating unique looks for people in need. Trisha has conquered protective styles (both natural and with extensions), locs, crochets, chemical processes, silk presses, sew ins and color. She’s done weddings, photoshoots and special events. Trisha works with a variety of hair textures as well as achieving many “everyday” looks. She is aware of and sensitive to keeping natural hair as healthy as possible and can provide professional solutions to making you look and feel fabulous!

Veronica

SENIOR DESIGNER

Veronica’s love for doing hair started around her second year of college. It wasn’t until she started creating YouTube videos, when a light bulb went off in her head and she discovered it was her true calling. She made videos on hair products, hair styles, makeup, and anything related to beauty. She went to Beauty Anatomy, graduated and now she’s more knowledgeable about the biology and make up of hair. She specializes in the care and health for natural hair; such as, rod sets, locs, braids and silk presses. Veronica enjoys being able to inform her clients on the right way to take care of their tresses. Most of all she enjoys making them feel confident & beautiful.

Camille

JUNIOR DESIGNER

Camille, is a determined and upcoming stylist in the natural hair community. Learning how to braid hair at the age of 13, not knowing this would be a future calling , it was something she kept practicing .She learned a healthy hair routine through her own loc journey which guided her to wanting to be natural hair stylist in 2011. Camille trained under natural hair icon Simone Hilton of Natural Trendsetters, learning different techniques in protective styles and loc twisting and styling. She recently made the decision to fully commit to natural hair care and became a licensed braider in 2017. Camille’s talents include natural hair braiding, twists, flat twist updos, locs and crochet weaves. Although many may find it difficult she loves working with children. The smiles on their little faces always pushes her to continue to create. Communicating and building relationship with her clients is very important to her because it provides an awesome experience. As she continues to master the art of hair care she plans to elevate her skill set with extensions and sisterlocks. Camille’s motto is “ You are naturally beautiful when you are yourself!”

Blondiva

JUNIOR DESIGNER

Blondiva, the hairologist. During her adolescent years of doing braids and weaves for close friends and relatives, she developed her passion for hair care and became a hairstylist. While achieving those desired styles, she knew something was missing. She felt hair needed to be protected to achieve the maximum health and growth, so she began to research the anatomy of hair, which lead her to becoming a licensed hair braider. She specializes in protective styles for children and adults. Styles such as cornrows, braids (natural and with extensions), flat twist, kinky twist, double twist and box braids. As a Licensed Hair Braider she believes that hair thrives with the proper love and care.

Schazzard

JUNIOR DESIGNER

Schazzard Blackburn, better known as Shizzy, relocated from the United Kingdom to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2003. She discovered her passion for Hair and received mentorship from an All Natural Hair Salon, and eventually became a Loc Expert 3 years later. She completed her dual enrollment program with Sheridan Technical College for Cosmetology. Shizzy decided to revisit her first love, Fashion, and begun her studies in fashion design and merchandising at American Intercontinental University in Weston, Fl. Shizzy has been an assistant hair stylist to celebrity Atlanta hair stylist “K Rock” and networked with production teams for big names such as Joe, Keith Sweat, Jazze Pha, Pretty Ricky, Keyshia Ka’oir, Gucci Mane, Bobby Valentino, Plies, Jamie Foxx and Trey Songz. Shizzy worked as an artist for Mac cosmetics, the AAA New product Launch Events, as well as help set up the new location for the Hialeah store in Miami, Fl. In 2017, she created her cosmetic line for The ISLAYY Brand. She also became a member on the advisory board at sheridan Technical College. Her Goal is to become an educator with Broward County school and an international platform artist in the Beauty industry, while being a successful entrepreneur and mentor.

Ruth Dorce
